It’s not just Bankruptcy clients that want to trim the budget. These days, everybody is looking for ways to save. If you have a family, one of the most expensive costs per month can be finding ways to take the family for a night out.
Below are some free ways to have a fun night out with the whole family in Woodland Hills.
First, the Valley Cultural Center puts on Free Movies on the Green in Woodland Hills during summer. The movies are shown at Warner Rancho Park in Woodland Hills. You have to bring your own lawn chairs, blankets, and other amenities but it’s a great way to watch a movie with the whole family on an outdoor 300-foot professional theatrical screen. Another great source of free outdoor movies is “Summertime Cinema!” outdoor movies put on at the Westfield Topanga mall. Westfield lays down astroturf for comfortable seating and shows the movies on the roof of the Owensmouth garage at the Topanga Mall. You can also check out the Friday Night Movies on the Farm at the Pierce Farm Center. The movies are shown every Friday night from 5pm to 10pm at The Fam Center located at 20800 Victory Blvd., Woodland Hills, CA 91367 You can see the upcoming movies here.
The Valley Cultural Center also puts on two different free concert series’ in Woodland Hills. The first is the Concerts on the Green Series which is held at the Lou Bredlow Pavilion in Warner Park in Woodland Hills. Every Sunday all summer long is a new free show. The second series is the Concert for Children at the Madrid Theatre located at 21622 Sherman Way Canoga Park, Ca 91301. The Concerts are every Monday morning from 10am to 11am. The Monday Morning Concerts series provides musicians, dancers, and actors in an educational teaching-style performance for children aged 5-11.
